Mothering Monday Special: The Ministry of a Christian Stepmom

Hello sweet mama,

This week on Mentoring Monday, I shared a message that is especially dear to my heart: “The Ministry of a Christian Stepmom.” Whether you’re a stepmom or you know one, I believe this teaching will encourage and strengthen your heart.

“Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”  Esther 4:14

If you are a stepmom, I want to start by saying: You are seen. You are valuable. You are doing holy work. And though it may feel thankless at times, God sees every tear, every meal cooked, every car ride given, every prayer whispered—and He will reward you.

💐 Why This Message Matters

I’m not a stepmom myself, but I had three stepmoms growing up. I’ve walked the journey from the child’s perspective. I’ve seen the pain, the struggle, and the beautiful potential that exists when a stepmom chooses to love her stepchildren with the love of Jesus.

In this video, I share:

✅ My personal story growing up with stepmoms
✅ Encouragement from Scripture for brave moms
✅ The deep calling God places on the hearts of stepmoms
✅ Why stepchildren need your love; especially when it’s hard
✅ And how Galatians 6:9 speaks directly to your role:

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

👑 From Stepmom to Brave Mom

For today, I’d love to change the title from “stepmom” to brave mom. Because that’s what you are. Every day, you choose love. Every day, you battle discouragement, comparison, and complex dynamics—and yet you show up. You pour out.

And that, my friend, is bravery.

You may not receive a card on Mother’s Day. You may face rejection or indifference. But your reward is from the Lord. He is the one who sees what is done in secret and rewards you openly (Matthew 6:4).

🌿 Be Encouraged, Brave Mom

If you are parenting a child you didn’t give birth to, I want you to know that your ministry matters. God has called you for such a time as this.

You are not alone. You are appointed. You are loved.

We are praying for you, we hope this teaching encouraged you. Please send us your comments or prayer request at admin@helpclubformoms.com.

With love,
